I have had the opportunity to speak with many of you during my time as your state representative. We have become good friends which is why I want to share a personal update with you. My wife, Volly, recently learned that there is a cancerous growth on her kidney. She will be undergoing surgery on Monday.
In January, I participated in the Suits and Sneakers challenge at the Statehouse to help raise awareness of the fight against cancer. Little did I know, eight months later my wife would be fighting a battle of her own.I believe in the power of prayer, and I appreciate your prayers for our family during this time.
